Extreme 3D 1.0.2 patch
If you have tried to install the complete Extreme 3D 1.0 package that we gave away with MacFormat 53 on a 68K Mac you may have been unable to register it using the serial number printed in the magazine. This was due to a bug in the program that we were not aware of at the time of going to press with MF 53. We have since contacted Macromedia who have provided us with a patch which updates Extreme 3D 1.0 to version 1.0.2, fixing several bugs including the serial number identification fault.
If you have installed Extreme 3D using a temporary serial number you should reinstall Extreme 3D from the MF53 cover CD and then immediately run the updater. You will then be able to register using the original serial number.
